100th Day of School Glasses

Our 100th day of school was today so as I was looking for ideas on Pinterest and came across these super cute 100 day glasses, I knew it would be perfect to add some fun to our day.  They unfortunately did not have a template but with a bit of trial and error, the kids had some cute glasses to add to the fun of our day.  The glasses are pretty simple to make - Trace 100 onto craft foam and add 1/2 of a pipe cleaner to each side.

Pizza for Dinner

I found my absolute favorite homemade pizza dinner recipe on Pinterest.
We make it all the time.

The recipe "The Pizza Hut Original Pan Pizza" was pinned from CDK Kitchen and tastes great and is really easy and quick to prepare and it makes 3 pizzas. The recipe at this link also has a sauce recipe to go with it but we generally cheat and used the sauce from a jar or this great white sauce recipe I found in a magazine:

White Pizza Sauce (for 1 pizza)

4T butter room Temp
1T Mayonnaise (sometimes I add ranch dressing instead)
1 lg garlic clove minced (I buy a jar of minced garlic & add 1 tsp)
1 tsp freshly chopped parsley
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp oregano

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and spread on your pizza.

Then we add our favorite toppings and yum!

Winter Snowflakes Craft idea

I taught my children a poem to recite for our visit to the nursing home entitled "The Snow is Falling" and I found this cute craft idea on pinterest to use as a prop. The kids loved making them - ours didn't turn out quite as fancy but they worked well for our poem!

My Favorite Dinner Rolls

I love to use Pinterest for meal prep inspiration and this is my current all-time favorite dinner roll recipe for special or even any occasion. I love this recipe link because the tutorial is really well-done and easy to follow.  They come out perfect everytime.  The recipe  makes a ton of crescent rolls but I just freeze the ones we won't be eating right away. When I want to use them I just stick them in a cold oven frozen, preheat to 375 degrees and in about 15 or 20 minutes they are hot and ready for dinner.
